Graduated from La Trobe University in 2017 with a Bachelor Degree of Accounting. Since graduating, I have worked for two different firms which has helped broaden my knowledge and experiences with Accounting, taxation and software programs (such as, Xero, MYOB, QBO, Reckon, CCH (iFirm), & a few more).

Navdeep moved to New Zealand from India in 2010. Initially he studied Business in Auckland, then worked in sales and marketing for a few years. Navdeep started working in an accounting firm in 2017 and finished his degree in Applied Management (Accounting) in 2018 while working in the sector. Navdeep has recently moved from New Zealand to Australia in August 2022 and started working at Insight Accounting in September 2022.

Nicola MacRae

Nicola joined the Insight team in March 2022, working previously as an Accountant for 15 years at a small accounting firm. Prior to working in taxation Nicola had accounting roles within major retail and corporate entities.
During her time in these roles, Nicola has gained a broad knowledge of accounting, taxation matters and experience with major accounting software programs, including Xero, MYOB, Reckon, Quickbooks and Cashflow Manager.
Nicola holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and has been a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) since 2007.
Outside office hours Nicola and her husband Simon enjoy following and supporting their three children’s activities. Lachlan a keen cricketer playing for both the Victorian and Australian I.D teams, Brooke a professional performing artist currently working in the theatre industry and Emily a keen footballer for the local Beaconsfield Football Club in the women’s senior team.

After graduating from the University College of Central Queensland with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Queenie started working for a German owned company based in Hong Kong as an assistant accountant. Not long after the company was sold to a Taiwanese firm, Queenie transferred to Thailand to work as Financial Manager.
After over a year in Thailand she then moved back to Australia. Queenie worked for a couple of kitchen companies as an accountant for a number of years before changing fields to computing. Queenie worked in a software company for a few years as an analyst/programmer and completed a Graduate Diploma of Information System (System Development) during that period. She then moved back to the accounting industry and work as an accountant while finishing her Masters Degree of Information Technology (Internet Computing).
After working for four years as an accountant/system administrator Queenie decided to take a break to travel overseas. In the meantime, she started her own part-time business to provide bookkeeping & computing services. Eventually returning to work full time for her bookkeeping business.
Queenie has been a BAS Agent since 2011 and a fellow member of Association of Accounting Technicians (now in part of Institute of Public Accountants Group). Queenie has recently joined Insight Accounting at the Beaconsfield office.
